Continuing Care

After a client chooses to carry to term… then what? The goal of the Continuing Care Network is to surround each client with the love and support of family and friends that she desperately needs. Our Continuing Care Network extends the ministry of Life Services beyond our walls and into the community of believers who continue to minister to her with love, life, and hope in Jesus Christ. This is done by families and individuals like you who provide practical support like:

Host Homes – Life Services recruits and trains families as licensed and unlicensed Host Homes to take in young women after they leave the maternity home to continue to give them a stepping stone to independence.

Respite Volunteers – Women or couples who are equipped to provide time off for the regular house parents and staff for time away or required training.

Resident Advocates – Women who are equipped to provide mentoring and support in accordance with the goals of the resident.  The hope is that you will become a life-long friend and mentor to a resident.

Other – We are always looking for volunteers to help provide childcare for classes or certain appointments the girls may have; guys who want to become mentors for our young fathers, or who can provide car maintenance; and life skill class facilitators.
